Transferring Song Purchases to new PS3

I plan on upgrading to the slimmed down PS3 when it comes out, and hockin the old big one. So basically a two part question: is it possible to get the songs I downloaded on the new PS3 when I get it (for free, obviously I could just pay for them again). And if it is how do I do it?

It is possible, when you create your profile on the new PS3, make sure you use the same email address etc. That way your download history is available to you.

Then sit back, relax and start downloading.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to transfer your bands, characters or scores though.

I was kinda hoping it would be linked to my PS3 network name/email, but just wanted to make sure I didnt have to do anything special before hand. Thanks!
