Question about the Rock Band Beatles Special Value edition

I read that this set will come with the regular Rock Band instruments which I believe is Rock Band 1. Can anyone confirm this because I was hoping it would come with the Rock Band 2 instruments (drums).

Descriptions everywhere I've looked said they're "Rock Band" instruments instead of "Rock Band 2". One place said "original Rock Band"

If it's the same thing that was on the VH1 QVC special it's all RB 1 stuff. The RB 1 drums were very loud on it as well :p

you should probably just get RB:2 bundle off of amazon. It's 99 bucks. You get that, plus TB:RB and it's a total of 160, shipping should be free, no tax, and you get wireless instruments.

Allegedly the Beatles Drums are more silent (chortle) than the RB2 version ... any improvement would be appreciated.

To be honest though ... I had RB1 on PS2, then RB2 on XBox 360 ... I'm tempted to get the RB:TB full band kit. I'm crazy though ... and a dyed-in-the-wool Beatles Fanboy ... I really want all the guitars too. Damn them for putting so much detail into the guitars! :p

Get RB2 Special Edition bundle and you'll have a more reliable guitar and drums... oh, and a game too. :D Get TBRB for $60 extra and you're essentially getting BETTER instruments and an EXTRA game for the price you'd pay for TBRB Special Value Bundle. :D
