They HAVE to put at least one song by Coheed on this album, i mean come on, Welcome Home would be soooo awesome to jam out to, probably would be one of the harder tracks too, or even In Keeping Secrets would be great. COME ONNN

No, no, no. Keep this crap out of this perfect game. The setlist as of now could not be better, why tarnish it with such a crappy one-dimensional band?

I'd like to see you match Claudio's voice, never mind you probably could since you have no balls. ;)

You saying they are one demensional band shows how high your IQ is. They are a mix of many things and perfect them greatly. I'm sorry but the musical talent in Coheed wipes the floor with most of the bands that have been named for rockband so far. So you think Rush is one demensional? Because Coheed has been compared to Rush so many times its not even funny. Don't believe me? Then how weird it is that they have a song 2113, that has the same signature Rush sounds in it. Oddly enough Rush has a album named 2112 hmmm. Connection there? Maybe. I think so. They have also been compared to Zeppelin being called the Led Zeppelin of the generation. Funny, Led Zeppelin is such a one demensional band. Thats why they are one of the most famous bands of all time. Yeah they got there because they were one demensional.

Just show your hypocrisy, looking at your latter posts. You made procomments about System of a Down and Older Greenday music. You want to talk about one demensional bands well there you go. Greenday changes a bit and you dislike it? Why because it was something different from their "one demensional" wannabe punk days of old? Have a good response to back up your statement next time.

thats just it, i do have balls so I can't get my voice to go that high...
And to those comparing them to Rush and Led Zeppelin, to be honest I'm not big fans of either of them, but I respect the hell out of them because they are pioneers of rock and roll. They did something special and unique, they dared to wear jeans instead of leather, not wear makeup, and not have big 80s hair, they just went out and rocked their faced off. Led Zeppelin, for one, COULD be considered the band that single-handedly shaped rock and roll as we know it today.
Coheed & Cambria, on the other hand, innovate in no way, they immitate. And in my opinion, they do it poorly. Missing from Coheed & Cambrias repertoire are the memorable rock anthems so commonly found when looking through a Led Zeppelin or Rush songbook. Sure they have a similar sound. There are simple catchy riffs aplenty, which can only lead a band so far.
Worst of all are the emo lyrics and singing that just don't fit at all with the accompanying music. The fact is that they are one dimensional in that they do nothing with originality. This Claudio character is the only modern singer I can think of that has a voice more annoying than that of Geddy Lee. He would however, make a suitable guitarist in a high school Led Zeppelin cover band.

You calling them emo once again shows your intelligence to actually learn about the band. Coheed and Cambria isn't emo. They are progressive rock. The lyrics you are reffering to are part of a story. Claudio write comics that go along with the music of Coheed and Cambria. It isn't emo, its the telling of a story. From your response I can tell you are one of the people that look down on all of todays music because you label it emo. Well the deffinition of emo music needs to be redifined. Why is Coheed emo because they have songs about a girl? Led Zeppelin wrote about girls? so did every other huge band in the world because love is a great thing to spill your all out into. The deffinition of emo should be deffined as bands that say I hate my life, I'm not perfect so kill me. Cut my throat because I don't deserve to live. A good example of an emo band is Hawthorne Heights why don't you go check them out if you want to hear "emo" music. As for you saying they immitate? Because they have been compared to great bands of the past? Well your wrong. They are completely original, and I can't belive how dumb you are making yourself look. Who else has a story written out spanning over numbers of graphic novels? Hmm I don't recall of anyone doing that other then Coheed. They are one of the most innovative bands out today, which is why I can't believe you say they make catchy riffs and thats all. It's so much more then that. But someone such as yourself with the statements you have made you will never get it through your thick skull.

I feel this comment warrants a second post, only because it is probably the most blatantly infactual comment I've heard all day. I like old Green Day music because they still had their integrity, and an original sound. They were able to successfully fuse punk with a more mainstream modern rock, and it worked for them. The release of American Idiot signalled them selling out. They jumped on the bush-bashing bandwagon, which had proven successful previously with bands like Pennywise, Anti-Flag, NOFX, Bad Religion, etc... combined that with pop-rock riffs a la Jimmy Eat World, and the result was the death of a very good band, and the birth of another run-of-the-mill Modern Rock 200 band.
You should not have gotten me started on System of a Down, because they are one of the most original and talented bands of our time. They came to prominence right in the middle of the Nu-Metal scene, where bands like Limp Bizkit, POD, and Korn ruled the show. They were able to go against the flow, and not rap, not incorporate turntables, and still be successful in the mainstream and outside it with a very heavy sound. Their sound has changed so much over time, but never once does it ever sound like anything but System of a Down front to back. They innovate. What other band can you name that mixes heavy metal with middle-eastern tribal music, and does it WELL? On top of that, their lyrics have deep meaning, a far cry from most bands you hear today. Never will you hear SOAD singing about how theyre girlfriend left and their parents dont understand and no one really gets them. They sing about political activeness and awareness (Ever heard of the Armenian Genocide of 1917? Didn't think so) censorship, addiction, and just plain out rocking hard.
To be honest, I don't see what this has to do with the topic at hand though, but next time you say something you don't know about, be prepared to back it up.

Actually greenday isn't innovative. They aren't punk, I don't see why people consider them to be punk. they are just rock music. So you say they sold out because they bash Bush? Thats ignorant. People are allowed to mature and have there music mature. System bashes bush and the government, so their sellouts too? You don't make any sense at all. No System isn't innovative. Yes I like system of a down, they do write great lyrics, I will give you that. But thats what they choose to write. Thats what powers them to write is awareness. Yes I have heard of the Armenian Genocide, I joined the stop the Armenian genocide group that was on Systems site. So don't go shooting me off like I don't know what I'm talking about, because I do.
