Singer problems

I want to be a singer when i grow up, but i dont know how to get noticed. i need ideas! I was thinking a talent show or something, but i have a voice that i went the world to know! please help!

at least that's how i did it.... drumming isn't too different from singing right?

I say start singing amonst friends and maybe your friends may want to start a band or something because one of them might like your voice. I have had thoughts of being a singer too I sing amongst my friends and my friends band wants me to sing My Sharona at their next concert because I can do it really well apparently lol.
