Ion Drum Rocker not working with Aussie Rock Band disc

I've got just my hot little hands on an Ion Drum Rocker which i imported from the USA for the PS3.

Drum Rocker is not working with my Australian-bought Rock Band 1 game. It won't register as a device, it doesn't matter if it's plugged into the RB USB dongle or the PS3 USB ports.

Check to see which number is assigned to the drum kit. If it's larger than 4, change the setting to a number between 1 & 4. Press and hold the PS button and choose COntroller Settings - Reassign Controller.

Thanks for the suggestion. Sure enough, that worked. I can't believe i didn't think of that...i feel like a friggin idiot.
