I saw that, I think that its neat. I also like that the game doesn't start automatically when you turn the system on.

I hate ps3 updates it messes my settings up on my ps3 everytime they do one.

I believe you have to set it to do that. Games will never start unless you select them from the game menu, insert them into the system while it is on, or select "auto start game" from the options menu.

hmm.. mine was always port 1, maybe i'm insane

My instruments go to the lowest number controller slot that's available. If I have no regular controllers on, it goes to controller 1. Never had it as controller 7.
