Drum Pedal busted at the hinge

I've looked around the forums and seen that most drum pedals that are breaking have been breaking around the middle of the pedal. Mine just broke but, instead of snapping in half, it snapped off right in front of the metal hinge. There's still a slim piece of plastic that is on the bar, but most of the pedal is now broken off. I've had the game since launch (November 20th).

My question is whether or not I can get it replaced? I try not to stomp on it but it's nearly impossible with songs like Maps and Welcome Home.

I got mine replaced and it broke in the same place.

I repaired mine and reinforced it. We have no replacement here in Canada...

My replacement pedal broke there too. My first one broke in the center near the spring like a lot of other people. I made a whole new foot board out of wood. I see now someone is making them and selling them if your not handy with tools. I got sick of this crap breaking all of the time so I took things into my own hands. This pedal isn't breaking anytime soon.
