Ba doo TSCHH!
I think it sounds good. Peanut butter pretzels are awesome. If I buy this the person at the counter would probably think I'm ***. It'd be like if I were to try buying tampons.

Ben & Jerry's had that beer and doughnut flavored ice cream for The Simpsons Movie a couple years back, too.

As much as I dislike Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield's politics, I have to applaud them for their innovative use of the capitalist system to get their point across.
What better way to win than from the inside, no?

Some guy was on there, talking about sex, and said that he "arrived early". Just seemed similar. lol
Come on, though, it can't be too bad. Peanut Butter, Fudge and Pretzels? How can that not taste good?
I mean, if you can stand not to think about two guys doing the do.

No. I am suggesting you might make a joke at the expense of homosexuals, though.
And even though I vote for the pretzels option, that's not the reason I dislike the flavor. Peanut butter ice cream is gross, and I dislike having peanut butter and chocolate together (despite liking them both individually). Yes, I dislike Reese's. Sue me.

Im addressing the *** ice cream subject, aka no one and everyone.
Yeah, but I think the real question is "what the hell does ice cream have to do with *** rights?"
I believe its to raise awareness and support for Vermont to legalize *** marriage. Its like on the verge of doing it. The ice cream is just a way to publicize the cause. Its like Alex's Lemonade. And I doubt its a marketing scam, Ben&Jerrys is one those companys that profit during poor economic times. People eat ice cream when depressed. And in good economic times people eat ice cream. Ben&Jerrys dont need to worry about money.

Ben & Jerry's have a history of using their ice cream to promote issues that don't have much to do with ice cream.
What does a carwash have to do with the cancer research? Nothing, but you see plenty of charity carwashes to raise money for issues such as that.

That stuff is just a marketing scheme, though. The issues they support are not for marketing, but rather because they believe in them.

Ok, charity and awareness is fair game... Guess I probably should've used my reading comprehension skills better, lol.
If they were doing it just for the sake of doing it, then yeah, it would totally be a scam. Mind you, the way that issue is handled in the states is just ass backwards anyways...

Universal pays them to make an ice cream to promote the movie.
Things like Phish Food and Cherry Garcia, for the sake of awesome.

The Simpsons Movie isn't an issue. That's a marketing thing they got paid to do.
Issues are stuff like this, their "Yes Pecan" (a play on Obama's "Yes We Can" slogan) flavor, and their anti-war "American Pie (http://www.benjerry.com/company/sear/2006/sear06_9.1.1.cfm)" flavor.

I started deleting comments discussing anything other than how delicious ice cream is, and then said "Ah, to hell with it. This whole thread will end up a mess." And it's not far from it, what with the "hilarious" "jokes" and rocky political discussion.
If you want to discuss the politics of Ben & Jerry's ice cream then you can head on over to a Ben & Jerry's site. Please try to avoid political discussions on the Rock Band forums in the future.
