Weird-News: Go-Girl Portable Urinal

Finally females can micturate standing up just like their manly counterparts can!

It's been done before, but now there's a new version of a device to let the girls join the boys in going standing up.

It's a urinal for females and it's called "Go Girl." "Go Girl" was initially designed by a doctor a few years ago but was perfected recently by a mom in Minnesota.

She says the device allows females to go to the bathroom standing up and significantly reduces "accidents" on your clothes.

One woman who tried "Go Girl" said, "I'm excited, I live in the woods, I like to pee and I'm going to New York for 2 weeks. Now, I can pee in the alley with the best of 'em."

"Go Girl's" maker says by next month, sales are expected to climb to more than 40,000. By the way, the urinals come in colors like pink and purple.

Nah you mis-understood. She likes to piss in the woods. She wants to be able to do the same thing in New York. And if you dont like to pee thats weird. Like ever hold it in for a long time and then do it? Its awesome.

That's not how I read it. It sounds like she derives pleasure from the act of urinating.

And yeah, it feels awesome when you have to hold it in a long time and then finally get to pee. But the pleasure derives from relieving the pressure on your bladder, not from the peeing itself. That'd be like saying that swallowing asprin was pleasurable.

I don't see the point of this, really. Most places have public bathrooms. And if not, it tends to be a woodsy place where you can just go in the bushes. It's not that hard.

This also isn't new, either. Some other company made something like this that was pretty much a tube shaped piece of cardboard. Probably easier to carry the piece of cardboard around since it's smaller, and you could just throw that away after you use it.

A funnel will do in a pinch. To be fair I have used a she wee and they do work. Saves you pissing all over your jeans and that's always a plus in my book.

Yeah they said the female urinating device has been around in Europe for a while there Miche.

And they were showing this thing all day on HLN, so basically it is a collapsible, flexible funnel that fits in a canister about the sixe of the fake can of peanuts. They use it clean it out and roll it up in the antibacterial towel provided and place it back in the can.

A lady interviewed on HLN said now she can finally write her name in the snow...
