Hi all, second time poster, first time threader! Greetings!

It's my birthday today and have been bought the Wii premium edition bundle for my birthday (how lucky am I?!?!).

I've never played rockband before on any format, so I don't know much about the controllers set up. I have a few of questions:

1. Are the controllers going to be wireless or wired?
2. Is there a USB wireless dongle thing if wireless, or a USB hub in the premium bundle pack if wired? Can't see any mention of it on the content of the bundle.
3. If wireless, does 1 USB dongle work for all controllers or would you need one dongle per controller, making there a need for a USB for both wired and wireless controllers?
4.Can you use any USB hub (a normal one for a PC for example) or does it have to be a special "WII Rockband USB hub"?

Hope you guys can help answer these questions, and sorry if they have been aksed an answered before, I couldn't see a definitive answer so thought I'd create this thread.

Thanks! Look forward to hearing from you guys!

1) Drums and guitar are wireless but the Microphone isn't.
2) There are 2 wireless Dongles
3) per wireless controller
4) Yes any hub will do

We don't know if the game includes a hub or not.

their most likely thinking of the value edition pack those are wired and you might need a dongle as others have stated but are you going to be getting more guitars or mics to havea full 6 player band?? if you are then you will definitly need a usb hub

Will this hub work for the Wii? It's not powered.

You're very likely going to need a powered one.

I know you are new, but please, read the rules and don't necro-post. Make a new thread.

For the Wii, you use a USB hub. Like this: http://globaltech-ow.com/Products/Input%20devices/images/USB_Hub.jpg You plug the end into the Wii and you generally have 3 new ports.

The one for the drum set has a two port hub in it. So I have the drums connected to the console, the two guitars connected to the drums, and the microphone in the console's second port.
