Can we get an official list of locations that are selling early?

I suspect most of the people playing already downloaded pirated copies and claim to have purchased it early, so they don't look like the jerks they are when posting videos and streaming.

I stopped into a 7-11 here in DC (visiting my GF at Georgetown) and nothing. I will be back in New Hampshire then Boston tomorrow.

I doubt your find any early in the Boston or Cambridge areas.

The 7-11's in my area don't even carry video games. They have time cards and points cards but that's all.

i dunno how close those two MN stores are to where you are but call them up and ask, i live near rice lake wisconsin and the store there is selling it as soon as they get it, which i hope and pray is tomorrow.

Seeing as how the game is not supposed to be officially released until 09/09/09, I highly doubt we will get an official list of places selling it. However, as you may have already seen from these message boards, there are people who are posting where the game has been put up for sale.

thanks for the heads up....i called two of the stores that are about 15 min away and both said they werent sure when they were getting it in and one even said it releases on the 9th sooo idk maybe u will get lucky at the rice lake store and get it early

Here is a suggestion to anyone who has an xbox 360 go to spotlight or events( cant remember which) on your dashboard there should be a screen saying meet the beatles with them going up the stair case in teh opening cinematic as the backround. Go in and go to gameplay videos you can see the Birthday,Revolution, Ticket to Ride and Sgt.peppers lonly hearts club band videos. you can them drum what you think Ringo is playing or even watch the trailers that actually have the notes and pretend like your playing the game!! (Make sure you disconnect the controller so you don't end up screwing up the video by hitting the drums or anything!!!

You're going about it wrong if you start calling up stores. Once you starting calling places, people start checking computer inventory systems, release dates, etc. In effect, calling can actually damage your chances as it can alert people to mistakes by the stockers.

It sounds cliche, but the only way to get it early is to "know people" (like store managers) or to be "in the right place at the right time" (ie: right after a stocker has errored)
