I'm watching as non-gaming sources come in and put reviews up for the game (ChiTribune, NYTimes, Salon so far), and caught this from Silicon Valley (an extension of SJ Mercury News)

It's a good review but there's this line:
A group of players has a number of options. Each player can choose a different difficulty setting, and any player can come in and out of a game without pausing the music. Online play will also be available.
Drop-in/out play?!
I'm wondering if this fellow has confused TBRB with GH5 (where drop in/out was like the most hyped feature ever).

I read the review...no word about drop-in/drop out...

See the quoted statement which is the 3rd to last paragraph of the review. It is not outright stated "drop-in/drop-out" but what the quote describes is exactly that feature.

That's interesting... Great feature, now when more friends/family come, I don't have to exit and lose all progress!

he could of meant like we found out a player can hope in and out in the middle of quickplay meaning you finish a song you add your mom in a quick way then play some more with ought having to go all they way back out to the main screen
