Yeah you probably are. No offense to the Linkin Park fans (what few on this forum) but I find them to be one of the worst bands in history.

And the Fall Out Boy song may not have been much fun to listen to, but it was fun on about every instrument.

I would love too see them give out the whole Minutes to Midnight Album, especially since there is not a lot of the nu-metal rock/rap in it, In Pieces has an awesome solo and The Little Things Give You Away has an awesome whole band feeling to it.

Justin Timberlake sells a lot of records too, doesn't mean he should be in Rock Band. Their music is too commercial and way over produced. Their lyrics sound like they copied them down from what they overheard in an 8th grade girls lockeroom, and the singers voice almost has enough nasal in it to warrent him a spot in a SoCal punk band.

even i know this is going to be on Guitar Hero III, but there is "No More Sorrow". thats a killer song, espically for guitar, drums and even vocals.

There are maybe 3 or 4 like it but no biggy. Just about every band has been mentioned once. It is Ultimate Setlist after all. Nobody really cares much for duplicates.

Anyways, I think Faint, Given Up, Runaway, Pushing Me Away, One Step Closer, Papercut, Bleed it Out, What I've Done, Breaking the Habit, No More Sorrow, Don't Stay, With You, and In Pieces would be awesome to play in Rock Band, but just a few of those would tie me over I think. :)

One more thing... You guys need to realize that everyone has a different taste in music. Don't get pissy if someone says they don't like the same band as you, and don't start bashing other people for their music tastes either. Personally, I love Linkin Park. Sure they get a lot of hate, especially from people that probably have never even heard their music and bash them just to be "cool", but I relate to a lot of their songs and have been a big fan of them for years.

I could go around putting down bands I hate that are in Rock Band (Fall Out Boy, Freezepop, Queens of the Stone Age) but I don't, because I know that there are people that like those bands and people are free to listen to whatever music they like and I have no place telling them if it's good or not because it has nothing to do with me.

annnnndddd i agree very much so...just because you dont like the band doesnt mean someone else doesnt...you just gotta deal with it if they do or dont put it in...if they do dont play it or if the dont then dont get upset about it...im pretty sure they will though since Linkin Park likes their music to be out there in different ways..

Ok i know theres not alot of Linkin Park Fans in here, but who has honestly played "No More Sorrow" on GH3???

I Have, and yet LP is my favorite band ever, and i will never hate them, i hate playing that song on Guitar Hero 3 soo badly.

1. The Opening, Brad Strums once, COUNT IT ONCE!!!!!!! and in GH 3 you strum alot in the beginning, and they have Phoenix's part involved, which ruins it already

I don't know about Linkin Park being the "Best Bad Ever" but they do certinly put on a great live show, and they have songs that are worthy enough for this game.

One problem I have is they are way more than a 4 piece band (6 people I belive)...So dose it really make sense to add a bunch of there songs to a game that is centered around 4 piece groups?

LP isnt the Best Band Ever, but they are Certainly the Best band of the 00's no doubt. They put out great albums, and they do killer shows. They are probably the most Energetic Band for Live shows out there.

If We are going to start using 6 person bands wholesale like this in RockBand then why not just include the London Symphany's greatest hits...

People can make videos playing the RB Flute...or the RB Viola... The point here is you can only ever have a 4 piece band...I'm not saying you can't have entire records of Linkin Park songs. Hell I've seen them live half a dozen times, becasue I think they are great.

I'm just not sold they are "right" for this game.

i dont hate LP but it would be stupid to try and make a 6 person band into a 4 person one. and to the guy bashing on LP and syaing beatles should be placed in first, to bad im lookinf at 3 pictures of them playing 1 drums and 3 guitars+1 on vocals.
