OK so I got to play Rock Band at my uncle's house yesterday for a good 5-6 hours and it was a total blast(aside from the fact that my sister "had" to play drums instead of sing). But anyway, Here's my review
GAMEPLAY: The all around look of the game is absolutely great. The notes in this are pretty cool looking compared to GH and the characters on the screen look like they are playing the song perfectly. I didn't have time to check out the "Rock Shop" because we were playing so long.
GUITAR/BASS: The Strat looks a lot more real and less toy like compared to the SG or Les Paul. I only played maybe 5 songs on guitar though so I didn't get a good feel for everything. I tried the solo buttons and well...let's just say it ended badly. The strum bar also felt very weird(without the click I didn't know if I was strumming right or not).
DRUMS: This is where I spent most of my time. The pads have a good amount of bounce and the pedal had some nice resistance. I wasn't sitting on a stool though so it was an odd stretch to the pedal but all in all I think I'll be playing the drums the most.
MICROPHONE: I sang 1 song on the Mic. The tamborine/cowbell parts are really fun though but I couldn't get the pitch at all. The weight of the Mic was very nice and it gave you a good feel.
The game is great, the game is so real looking and it's just a good experience. Now I have to wait 9 more days.
