Several from HMX have said they'd love to but atm its unconfirmed. Don't hold your hopes up cos it'll be a while.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the dumbed down PS2 version make it's way to the wii once supplies are up on the peripherals.

The wii does have a pretty big user base.

True, and I own a Wii, but half of the value of this game is the ability to play online (Wii's online capability is pretty bad in comparison to XBL and PSN), DLC (Wii has no real way of storing it, the same issue as the PS2...sorta), and visuals (Wii has some pretty decent visuals but pale in comparison to the other next gens). Oh, and hopefully the game would be in stereo and not mono like Red Octane/Activision did with GHIII.

Is is possible...sure, and I hope you Wii owners aren't left in the dark, but for me, after seeing in on both the 360 and the PS3, it would just be disappointing. However, I would be really curious to see where the Wiimote would go on the drum set and mic. LOL

^ I didn't even think about that.

It would need modified peripherals, where as they've been able to use the same models for the ps3,360 and ps2.

Hmmm, I wouldn't keep my hopes up for it anytime soon.

Don't forget the Wii does have 2 USB ports in the back. I think the main reasons why GH3 for Wii uses the Wiimote inside the guitar was to save money on the tilt and wireless components AND, as a bonus to help disguise their cheapness, it adds rumble and sfx to the guitar.

This is not true and anyone who's been following anything with the Wii would know otherwise. All that would need to be made would be a lobby, or a similar system to that of SSBB, and you're good to go. Friend codes are also a great alternative and would be a great way to get the BWT online.

Except BWT can't and won't be online anytime soon.

You're not understanding that it's an unreleased version of the game. BWT would be easy to do using friend codes.

You know, I haven't gone online but once and it doesn't bother me at all. Now, if you mean DLC, which I think you must, then I agree. I own a Wii; it makes a lovely paperweight.

How? You've got the same hurdles as the other systems.

Your foolish. It's not even a version of the game. As far as I know (don't have a Wii) Friend codes is just a painful friends list that restricts who you can play with online.

Using your logic, BWT would be easy using a friends list.
