Hello,
I just had an awesome jam session with my friend last night, who is considering buying the game for Christmas. My question is whether or not the band we created (Disproportionate Rockers FTW!) will be playable in World Tour Mode Online

no BWT online as of yet, however, it may be a possibility for the future.

They've said there will not be an online BWT in Rock Band but perhaps in future sequels they may have it.

No they didn't, they said that there WILL be an online BWT, and it will be released in a patch sometime in the future.

HMX: We are really pumped about Band World Tour and we would have liked to see online play at launch. However, BWT is such a huge feature that we wanted to make sure that we did it right, which did mean sacrificing online play at launch. We wanted to make sure we got Rock Band finished as a complete game and programming BTW Online is almost like programming an MMO. It's something we're definitely psyched about for a future game and we're as pumped to play this as you are, so stay tuned.

Aw, great. Can Harmonix Clarify if he meant a patch or a full blown game?

If It's another game, I could wait a few months/years. Hope someone will clarify this statement

Ok... So, I have no one who plays video games in my house besides me, does that mean that I just miss out on this part of the game and can't create my own band with all of my friends online? I mean, we play all the time in multiplayer already, I dont see why its not possible to just create some sort of "grouping" system where gamertags or whatever can join under a group, where the leader can recruit or accept who joins the band, and boom, Band World Tour...

You have two options...

1. Learn to sing and play guitar at the same time.

2. Make some friends who will come over and play with you.

I am pretty much in the same boat, only I have banned ppl from coming to my house...so I am looking at packing up my stuff everytime I wanna play with other ppl.....
