Today in the Target ad they advertise the "Rickenbacker" Beatle's Guitar for Rock Band for $99.00

Only problem is.... they use the image of the HOFNER BASS THAT COMES IN THE GAME ONLY!

Yeah if you buy 2, and then use that gift card to buy 2 more, you can buy them all for $138.00... Assumming that they are selling The White Album for $11.98 too (although everyone else is selling that one for more!)

I was planning to pick up some remasters at Walmart to get my employee discount, but that actually sounds like a better deal.

I would think it would be a better deal at Target, since Walmart is 13.88 a CD*, unless instore is cheaper than online but I think they maintain price consistency at Walmart. You're getting effectively 2 CDs for $19 at Target (presuming you typically shop at Target so you can use that gift card for a different purchase), you'd have to have a discount of ~33% to get it that cheap from Walmart.

However, I didn't get a circular from Walmart today, so I don't know if they'll have any special deals for the CDs.

I talked to one of the guys in electronics yesterday, and he didn't know anything about any deals. Could be there is something and he was unaware, but he should have known if something was gonna be offered. In light of that, I reckon I'll be going to Target! I can only get 2 or 3 of the remasters this week, so that'll work out just fine.

I just looked at their circular ad - the only offer with gift cards is that you get a $10 gift card for buying the TBRB game and either "1" or "Love" on CD. They also list those same two CDs for 11.88 each. I'm not seeing anything indicating gift cards for purchasing just a pair of Beatles remasters. They don't indicate on the ad or on their site that the remasters are $11.88 either.

I don't think they'll get too upset. All you have to do is read the circular and realize it's a picture mistake. Now, if it said Hofner for sale, then I could see some problems.
