Its been two weeks and still havent recieved an empty box to return my guitar

its been two weeks since i contacted EA about my broken guitar. Since then they keep giving me a tracking # for something that has never been placed in the mail. They seem to think that a tracking number makes the problem all better? i still have a broken guitar that has now found its way to a pile in the garage not even a week old and its put out like trash. thanks EA for wasting my money! i could have purchased two guitars and guitar hero III. i have four kids that liked the game for about an hour.it broke. then it became garbage!!!!! how can a major game manufacturing company send out a defective product right before xmas and not even try to fix the problem? if my guitar comes back with the same problem as when it left, i will propose a class action lawsuit against EA AND HARMONIX for ripping people off!!! this is total BS and should not be the problem that it has become. this product should be recalled and fully refunded untill the problems are taken care of!! retailers should not recommend a product that is broken in the box!! this i am also very upset with!!! please reply and let EA know JUST HOW PI**ED off we consumers are!!!! :mad::mad::mad::eek: oh y the way you guys say do the express deposit option? the last thing i want to do is give any more to ea or harmonics. as they keep screwing up ? hell i might even loose that too!!!

LOL. Tell that to the guy from Puerto Rico who is being charged $125 on his credit card for a guitar that EA themselves say they won't ship to PR because he's not on the mainland US. He still has his broken guitar, no empty box, no replacement guitar and a pending $125 charge.

It's the same damn equipment, fact is, it shouldn't have broke in the first place. We're being punished for being dedicated enough to go to america to get this game.

You should not have thrown the guitar out now they won't give you a new one without the old one. So your only option is do the express and wait 30 and they charge you 125 for a new guitar. :)

He bought it at his local Gamestop. Puerto Rico is a US Territory, it was released on November 20th, just like the rest of the United States. THAT is how he got it.

Do you even know where Puerto Rico is ? It is an US territory, we have the same federal laws you guys have in the states and the people born in the island are US citizens. Whenever a game gets an US launch we also get it here at the same time cause we are part of the United States. So if a Toys R' Us, Gamestop, EB Games, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA (yes, we got all of those stores here, we are not some freakin savage island with naked people and no electricity) sells a game they (EA/Harmonix) should honor it... and they will, the thing is we may have to wait a long time. And that is unfair.

tell me about it when my xbox 360 broke it took nearly 2 months for me to get it back then my friends broke took him 3 weeks and they gave him 1 month of xbox live

They won't even send us Canadians an empty box (yeah, empty box for the 'normal' return process). EA claims it will be held at customs for duty/taxes. What a load of crap.
