I've come to notice all the threads on Final fantasy lately,
and I couldn't hel'p but wonder why no one is talking about FF XIV.
I mean, It's a huge release, and no one's excited? :mad:

this looks like a waste of a perfectly fine FF series installment on a cash-cow. By my counts we should only be on FFXII.

I've seen gameplay videos and I am not very impressed. Though, I'll be looking at it closely on it's release. Especially if it later becomes available for the Xbox.

The trailer I saw looked quite boring. And Squeenix took enough of my time and money with XI. But who knows.

To be honest, I'm much more excited for the local multiplayer of that new Dragon Quest on the DS than an MMO such as FF14

They supposedly fixed the system they had been using for FF XI
And it looks so damn good.

If it's anything like XI then no thanks.

Hopefully they learned there lesson and fixed all the major problems, if so then I may have a new MMO to play.

FF14 looks boring and uninteresting, imo.

But FF13 and Versus look so damn good... i can't wait until i can get my hands on both and caress their beautiful plasticy cases, then put them to m-

The first Final Fantasy was released over 22 years ago. That's not really that many iterations when you consider how horribly most game franchises get pimped out these days.

Clearly you know nothing about Final Fantasy if you're putting it in the same bracket as Mario Party.

It looks great, and the graphics are sweet, but if it as much of a time waster like i hear about with 11, then ill pass.

As for the topic, I said this before, I was excited until I saw that they have all the same gear in the early renderings, just prettier. Now I'm not so sure.
