There better be a "post music" genre.

Impressionism is made up of mostly average compositions. Romanticism on the other hand has some of the best music ever written.
And the best song of post-music has to be included at 3 bucks a pop. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61UP2hdJmwM&feature=related)

Example:
Rock is a genre.
Hard Rock, Glam Rock and Indie Rock (there are definitely a lot more than this... I'm just giving you an example or 3) are sub-genres of Rock.
Get it?

Indie rock isn't a subgenre of anything.

Let's just hope that breakcore is a subgenre. Torturing my brother with sadistically hard songs never ceases to entertain me.

I'm not certain, but I expect that the technical difference as applies to RBN will be that you can sort by genre in-game, but the subgenres will probably just be labels. Just a theory, I can't back that up

If Metal is a genre.
And Death metal is a sub-genre.
Then what is Melodic Death metal called?
Also, metal could be considered a sub-genre of rock music.
This whole genre thing is very confusing haha!

It would be a sub-genre of a sub-genre.

an example of it would be:
Terrorhorse's Packet Filler's (a song that will be released for RBN) main genre is Metal, however it's sub genre is Progressive Metal
