The reason BWT can't be single player?

I'm curious as to why exactly BWT requires 2 people to play it. I can't think of another game where the core game is unplayable unless you have another person in the same room as you. Is there any good reason? I can't think of any.

Hmm, it sounds like your game is defective. You might want to return your copy of the game and see if you can get a new one. I don't have any problems playing songs solo. Is your disc scratched?

Perhaps you missed the very large SOLO button at the top of the main menus, with the Solo Tour sub-option under it. What makes you think that BWT is the "core" of Rock Band? Maybe the Solo Tour is the "core" and BWT is just the gravy ;)

To me, it feels like Solo Tour is missing a whole bunch of features that are in BTW: Gigs, cities, stars, fans, money, etc.

Dude if your Solo Tour is lacking cities, stars and money, you need to send your game back, cause it's defective. Solo Tour certainly has those.

True it doesn't have fans or the gig venues, but it's not supposed to. It's a Solo Tour. Not Solo BWT :)
