Online Quitters

I've been trying to get the achievement for 5 score duel wins in a row. I've been successful at getting 4 in a row, but on the 5th I either lose or someone quits. Why is it that when the other player quits, it counts it as a loss for me, and I am put back down to 0/5 wins in a row? That's complete bull****. It needs to be fixed so that the quitter gets a loss, and the other person gets a win, OR the match is discarded and it does not count for or against either one of the players. Also, if you get matched up with Vaders padawan, or Assasins Blades on XBL be ready to get quitted on.

ya I kept getting this too...annoyed the crap outta me.

hopefully will be fixed soon, but if it's not then oh well. I guess we may just have to deal with it :(

Currently the only recourse you have is to neg their rep on XBL, but since most of us don't pay attention to reps (and it has no effect on whether they can play online) it doesn't help much.

That's because everyone else is trying to get the exact same Achievement you are. That thing's a troublemaker.

Yeah, bugs me too. I never quit, even on the two occasions when my connection has crapped out on me and won't register notes I'm hitting (missing 30 greens in a row FTW!). Still, you've got to take comfort in the fact that the person who quits because their losing is still a loser.

It used to frazzle me too, but if you're really good enough to be getting the achievement, it will come in due time. Don't worry about it. Besides, TrueSkill rating is a better indicator and means of bragging right, and if you continue to raise that, you'll eventually get your 5 in a row.

I did finally get the achivement after many quits. I managed to get both the score duel achievements just trying to get that one.

There's a 20 in a row achievement too. I got it recently.

It's not in a row, it's just 20 wins total. That is the one I got while trying to get the 5x one.

I haven't been able to finish a single Tug Of War match this afternoon. 5 times in a row I've been quit on. It's starting to get a little ridiculous.

Yes, on all 5...well make that all 7 of them now. This is absolutely ridiculous that I can't even finish a song today.
