Hey, I'm wishing to try and clear ESL2 on expert drums to get platinum.
I'm currently playing through band tour to get it unlocked (about 2/3 done).
I have tried all 84 songs on expert on solo quick play. There are two which I can't finish alone: Shoulder to the Plow and Visions.
What I'm looking for here is people who can clear the ESL on guitar/bass/vocals and are willing to do it via xbox live.
There are two questions that I have in mind as well.
-To clear ESL2 online, do you have to re-do the whole band world tour with the people you will tackle the challenge with?
and also
-Is it even possible for me to clear Visions with a whole band as an energy backup?
post away if you're interested in playing the challenge with me and try to detail as much as possible (what songs give you problems if any, and what instrument you would play as).
Thanks a lot! Looking forward to finding band mates

To answer your questions:
-You have to do the ESL2 from the beginning, but you don't have to start the whole tour over again.
-Sure it's possible.
Now, I'd like to help and if I have the time I will... but there's a few things to keep in mind.
-It takes a while. Hours. Long time. Done it twice. Just wanted it to end.
-Do you really want to chance getting 70 songs in and end up having (purposely or not) the other person/people disconnect? I wouldn't do it on purpose, but some peopl's connections are dodgy at best.

Well I've played for about 14 hours yesterday, unlocked ESL2
Practiced Visions quite a bit too, got to 50-something% in solo quick play, should be good enough to finish song with a band.

You should just wait a month and develop your skills a little more to the point where you can pass the song solo. And also, practice songs like Shoulder to the Plow and Panic Attack a little. Then you should be good to go. Trust me, doing the ESL when your able to beat every song solo is more rewarding then being helped through it. Oh, and run through all the songs over the span of a day or two, and you might find a song in there that's a little more tougher than you thought, i.e A Jagged Georgeous Winter or Teen Age Riot, I hope all goes well.

I actually have no problems with Panic Attack took me just 2 tries to clear it, I've been listening to Dream Theater for many years so I knew what to expect.
A Jagged Gorgeous Winter is indeed annoying at times, and I found out I'm having a bit of problems with Everlong. Ive passed them with a band but not alone yet. I did the ESL on hard yesterday, and tried those on expert afterwards, I didn't even remember they existed :D

Expert Basist here. Been wanting to do the ES2 for a while. Just haven't found anyone who's willing to go thru it. So ya, if u need a bassist just let me know. I can pass all songs on my own except Visions. Usually fail out at around 72%.
