In Regards to Non-Album Singles (A Guide and Discussion)

Well, I thought this is something that should be discussed. I'll also keep an up-to date list of the non-album songs available in-game.

While the Beatles released some phenomenal albums, some of their best work was in their singles.

With songs like Hey Jude, You Know My Name (Look Up the Number), Rain, and 20+ others never appearing on an album, in what time frame do you think we will see these released?

Will there be a Past Masters full album, or will we potentially get a few singles once or twice a month?

I could see a Singles 'album' being released at some point. Some essential songs were only ever released as singles: Rain, Hey Jude, The Ballad Of John And Yoko etc.

I guess She Loves You is ruled out on account of the missing master tapes, isn't it?

I don't think they'll ever do the other versions of Love Me Do, Get Back, Let it Be and Across The Universe. Most of em aren't that different, really.

I honestly don't think we'll ever see any "duplicates", unless the game and DLC sells phenomenally and there's huge demand for everything. I'm still curious as to whether we're going to get a separate Within You Without You with the Sgt Pepper DLC.

I honestly don't think we'll ever see any "duplicates", unless the game and DLC sells phenomenally and there's huge demand for everything. I'm still curious as to whether we're going to get a separate Within You Without You with the Sgt Pepper DLC.

The two versions of Let It Be are fairly different. One is the butchered Spector version that manages to be a good, not great song, and one is a beautiful, fantastic song produced by George Martin.

Not all the songs on Let It Be are butchered, but I feel the album version is vastly inferior.

The first two first appeared on albums, and as for the fan-club exclusive, I'm not sure.

But I doubt there's going to be an Anthology 1 and 2 album DLC, so I think we should consider all 3 as singles (Christmas Time is Here Again, iirc, was released as the B side of Real Love).

Also, can you change the color from Green to something else? I honestly can't tell the difference between Green and Dark Green. Maybe a Teal?

The Christmas song was released in the 60's as a fan-club exclusive. And the other two did appear on an album originally.

As for the color thing, it's done.

I can't imagine we won't get Past Masters at some point in some form. The only real question mark is "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love" (which probably should have been part of Past Masters). Unless the DLC just sells like crazy I doubt we'll ever see anything from Anthology.

Oh god, I had just assumed they would. I'd be so disappointed.

I assume we will get the regular Within You Without You because the mashup on the game even sorts it under the Love album with the Love album cover. So you can't have a gap in the Sgt. Pepper album when the DLC comes out.

We BETTER get "Let it Be" eventually, I love the guitar solos in that :D
