insuffiecient wii points to download free dlc?

hey rock band people :)
i recently got rock band 2, i like it.
but i tried to use the music store yesterday and whenever i try to download the free songs it says i have insufficient wii points... whut!?!
anybody got any ideas?
by the way my game is NTSC U, however its playing on a pal wii, the wii shop channel is still pal region and dlc works fine on world tour so that shouldnt be a problem :)

The Music Store goes through the Wii Shop Channel, do you have any points? The Wii Shop Channel may be blocking the transaction if your account is empty. Beyond that, I don't know. You're the second person recently I've heard with this problem.

Are you talking about the 20 free songs that came with the game? Or the free songs found in the store (i.e. Charlene, Promised Land, etc)

3/4 free songs are not yet available for Wii owners. "Still Alive" is, I believe, but not the other 3.

I think you need to buy the PAL version of Rock Band 2 instead of the NTSC version.
