Customer support just told me reinforcing the drum pedal doesn't void the warranty.

I have checked, and if you reinforced the drum pedal yourself, it will not void the warranty on the pedal itself. Just make sure that the reinforcements you would make will not cause harm to any other Rock Band equipment

If you didn't already, you should record what the EA tech supports response is. So you can prove if needed, they stated it would not void your warranty.

If it was sent in e-mail, it is already recorded by EA. No further steps need to be taken. He has proof EA told him he could do so now.
