There are some characters that I'd love to make but I'm limited because I can't tattoo their upper chest or neck.

So...... what do you want us to do about it?

I'd like teh guys at HMX to perhaps add this feature.

I think the create-a-characters are already pretty processor intensive, so adding another area for art and tattoos would chew up performance.

I'm sure the ps3 can handle a more extensive character creation system. Rock band is definitely not pushing the system to it's limits.

Face paint for the back? Never head of such a thing. :p

Regardless if the PS3 can "handle" it, they still have to figure out ways to harness that processing power. They're not going to waste the time and effort on that just so you can have tattoos on your neck.

Besides, even if they do squeeze that out, they're not just going to do it for the PS3 and not the XBOX.

They gave one wireless and not the other. One plays GH guitars and the other can't (although that may not fully be Harmonix's doing).

It really has nothing to do with the processor of either machine. They can handle it. Where did you even get the idea that it would slow down the game?

It's painting a texture on the neck regardless, what would changing pixel colors add to the processing needed????

Check out Harmonix's comments about the PS2 version. It's related to why they dont have full body tattoos. Trying to render 4 characters, who all have different models, clothing, tattoos, etc at once, while playing music, generating the UI for the notes... it's extremely graphic intensive.

I'd love to see a quote from HMX that says that next gen systems have trouble rendering 4 different people. Can you post it?
