I was listening to them after playing and thought they'd be really fun to play, maybe Hand of Blood or Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow. Granted they probably have to take into account the singing part but I'm kind of hoping to see at least a few more hardcore songs for this game. Nothing even super crazy either, Avenged Sevenfold or Atreyu or something?

i second that motion, bullet would be great for GUITAR HERO 3 though, the polar opposition of the vocal stylings in their music would make them difficult to emulate because on the one hand you have the nasal vocals and the gutteral screams. people would bust their vocal chords. I love them as a band, their arrangements and musical talent are undeniably adept. Avenged would be great too but the vocal problems can show themselves again if you use their earlier stuff but if it is based on rhythm and timing, as well as knowing the words (perish the thought right?) it could work. also City of evil on needs double bass pedal for drums. im all for these suggestions. i would buy their stuff in a second.

True, the vocals would be a bit difficult, but even so I tend to sing I'm So Sick by Flyleaf in a more bullet style, and it's fun even though the amount of screaming is limited. Even the Timmy & The Lords of the Underworld is fun to scream out sometimes. I just hope if they add something like bullet that they make the guitar work a bit more technical, not that all the songs on Rock Band are super easy, but they're definitely scaled down from Guitar Hero.

I second this

most of their songs are very guitar intensive...solos and just fun riffs

so that would take care of the "the guitar parts aren't hard" crowd

as for vocals they can just make the screaming parts "talky parts" so it's not intense if you don't want it to be

i would go for

Tears Don't Fall
Hand of Blood
Curses(for a slower one)

but there are others i'd want to

perhaps if we can get the European DLC they were promised it will be on there since they are from Wales

Cursed might be good but I think Tears Don't Fall would be a bit more interesting for a "slower" one.
What about (not all of these are hardcore but i think they'd be fun)

36 Crazyfists - The Heart and The Shape
30 Seconds To Mars - Battle of One
Atreyu - Ex's and Oh's
Audiovent - Gravity
Authority Zero - A Passage in Time
Avenged Sevenfold - Almost Easy
Avenged Sevenfold - Blinded in Chains
Billy Talent - Devil in a Midnight Mass
Celldweller - I Believe You
Chris Cornell - You Know My Name
Collective Soul - Heavy
Disturbed - Decadence
Iced Earth - The Reckoning
It Dies Today - Enjoy The Silence
It Dies Today - The Radiance
Kidney Thieves - Glitter Girl
Kill Hannah - Lips Like Morphine

To name a few

Bullet for My Valentine is pretty cool. But I agree that they would be better in Guitar Hero. I'd like to play Paget and Tuck's dueling guitars over bass. The Poison is a really good CD. Hit the Floor is my favorite song on there, but I know other songs would be a lot harder, like Her Voice Resides or 4 Words.

I'm sure they'd be good for Guitar Hero, but I'd still definitely rather see them on Rock Band. It'd be a shame to limit the songs on Rock Band because the guitar parts would be more fun on GH3. If they don't "dumb down" the guitar parts I think they'd be just as fun.

It would be fun to play hand of blood on rockband. You guys know, that the vocals would be really fun, even if you didnt do them right. =D

Plus with singing you just have to match the pitch, you don't have to sound exactly like the singer. I just hope they add some DLC that's a little heavier and more guitar intensive, I think Blackened was a step in the right direction but singing Metallica gets boring after a while :(
