MIC Special effects

i just played my friends version of rock band on 360. when you sing it has cool echo special effects that never happened to me on ps3. sooo i was wondering was it meant to be that way or is there somethin wrong wit my mic. THX guys

When you activate Overdrive for the Mic, it always adds the echo effect.
Guitar has a choice and Drums have no extra effects.

I noticed that too. I played RB on my nephew's 360 and the mic echoed when going into overdrive. My PS3 version doesn't.
