Here it is. I've found some people trashing each other for posting tons of pics on the site of their setup, so I had an idea: Why not create a thread just for showing off your Rock Band room/setup! Anyways, my own pics will be coming soon, I assure you, but for now, post your own, and we'll let u know what we think!

I would love to show my set up... but the fact is.

My rockband set is in peices.

Foot Pedal Broke >< 45 min after i bought the set.
Guitar hmmm didn't work straight out of the box.
Oh.. wanted to buy another guitar.... Nope I can't they dont sell them.
Microphone broke when I threw it at the wall in frustration after my drum set broke... it bounced off the wall and hit my T.V.
It went right through my big screen. Hmmm. Made me so mad i picked up the
guitar that didn't work in the first place and bashed my 360 to bits.
I tripped over all the broken parts on the floor and knocked over my Polk Speaker it tumbled to the floor and broke open.
Screaming Mad i picked up what was left of the speaker chunked it out the window.
My neighbor called the cops thinking i was crazy and 10 min later they were knocking on the door. I answered the door, the officer asked if everything was ok...
I replied uhmmm.. yeah was just practicing so i could join a ROCK BAND.

Rock Band heh.. Rock Band these NUTTTSSS!!!!

NickBalto - just a question... how old are you? if your under 18 or under 24 and in college then its ok but if older then with all the money you spent on that av setup you coulda paid 2 yrs rent haha... still a sweet setup but i dont see where the rest of your speakers are... also if possible you should lower your center so its level with the fronts to create an even flow (unless your receiver compensates)

SharkX - I think its time you move on to an actual band now haha... you said its a ceiling projector? doesnt the fog interfere? and what kind of projector... Im considering going to a projector but how do you connect the 360 to it? wouldnt you need really long cables which as a result degrades performance..

my setup? no pics but just a 26" lcd with a modest 5.1 setup

Thats kinda cool, your the first person I've seen who uses my exact same monitor/tv. I use it almost exclusively for my PC though, besides rock band the 360 hasn't gotten much love the last year or so. You got a nicer overall setup however, I spent my limit on the TV alone, best investment ever. Makes for a great monitor as I'm sure you are well aware. :)

The fog only interferes when you don't use dry ice. The dry ice keeps the fog low to the ground. The projector I am using is an old Toshiba from about 8 years ago but the picture it projects is still pretty awesome. The way I am connecting it to the 360 is with VGA cables that you can buy from Pelican. I had to purchase a VGA extension cable that is about 25 feet long so that I could run it from the ceiling down to where my 360 is. The picture isn't degraded at all.

im 20, the 3 surround speakers are on the wall behind me. As for the center speaker theres not much i can do with it, there is no where else i can fit it in the unit, i had it under the tv at one stage but the tv was too high.

Nice setups.

I don't know if I should post a pic of mine or not. Figure I'm going to get a lot of BS over the amount of anime I own, which can't helped but be seen considering it surrounds the TV.

But, lets see, for a TV I have a Samsung HL-T5676S 1080P DLP TV & as for the sound I'm using a Yamaha HTR-5740 6.1 Reciever. Oh and the sitting arrangement is a 70's gold couch with a second hand coffe table as a handy dandy foot prop.

Ok here are a few quick pics of my setup. I actually have a good amount of room for my setup. I plan to fix it up a bit more. I guess the only different thing you may notice on my setup is I put up some hooks on the wall to hang my guitars from. Just keeps room cleaner and keeps guitars off the floor from getting stepped on and knocked over by dogs etc.

My wife and I play. She used to play the drums and I'd do guitar, but I finally got her to try the guitar and now she likes that better.
I've got a 65" mitsubishi DLP, Yamaha rx-v1800 amp, Toshiba HD-XA2 hd-dvd, PS3, and directv hd-dvr. I'm running 7.1 setup and when rocking out the crowd comes thru the rear surrounds and it sounds awesome!:)531

Bought a $100 powered sub in my Guitar Hero days and it makes all the difference. Brings out the drums and fills out the other instruments nicely, too.

Bought the foam cover for the mic for $1.50 cause the silver mic head was distracting me when singing and playing guitar at the same time. Dumb but true.

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/6507/setup002hr4.jpg

It gets warm in this little room with all the electronics, so the fan really helps. The sock mod looks lame but is really effective.

I think I've got a good-looking setup, now if only my skill matched my setup I'd be happy.

Anyone know where I can find some 'How To' or guides on setting up a multi-display stage? Wanting to set up two displays for the players and a third for the audience.

My guess is either a splitter box or tvs with output that you can chain. I have no idea.

I'm wanting to help a local game store set up a stage for Rock Band nights.

Hey this is kind of a neat thread.

My setup has changed a bit from these pics - I took them the day we had our theater painted, so some of the stuff is a bit cluttered and I still have all my old computers flopping about in some of these. I'll take some updated pics when I get the chance.

The speakers by the way are Logitech Z-5500s, which seems like a really odd choice...and it is, except what's nice about them (aside from pretty good sound) is that they support three inputs, so I have my 360 on optical, my home theater pc on coax and my gaming pc on direct input and I can switch between the three inputs via remote or custom speech command that interfaces with the IR blaster in my home theater pc.

The projector is an Optoma HD80 that I got on clearance at Best Buy and the screen is a cheap elitescreen that somehow looks as good as the first screen I bought, which was like ten times more expensive :O

Because of an air vent that dips down on the ceiling, the max screen size we could use is 100" (which is why we had to ditch the first screen, which was 150") >:(
Our new place will hopefully have more room, so we're just going to wait to buy nicer stuff.

The seating is a clearance/discontinued leather set from Ultimate Electronics. Bargain shopping for the win.

The setup with the fog and stuff early on in the thread still gets my vote for #1 :D
