My pedal broke last night during a Rock Band party. It snapped in half about 2 inches up from the hinge. I fixed it using a small flat piece of metal and some screws that I got from Lowes. Total, it only cost about $2. It's definitely not the most elegant of fixes, but it works. Think I might find something to put over top of the metal to give it some cushion.
