Well guys i am only hours away from receiving my Rock Band bundle shipped from the US to Australia. I have been told its the newer bundle if that means anything. But to my disappointment my parcel was at the bottom of the list for todays delivery. So wait till tomorrow.
Will i enjoy this as much as gh3 and will i be able to access download content even though i have set up an US account.

Judging by the experience most people have (myself included), you'll enjoy it at least as much as GH3, if not a lot more. And I don't think you should have any problem accessing the DLC...although I could be wrong, so don't quote me on that.

Hey, I imported the game to australia too, I just got my bundle today, a few hours ago. I live in Adelaide, dunno if that matters, probably not.
Let me say, you'll enjoy more than GH3, much more.
As for the DLC, i dunno. Even if u have a US account (like me) u might also need a US credit card, which I dont have...

Unless they happen to have a US 360, they'll be talking about the PS3 version.
Here in Perth, fellas, I have two bundles. Both arrived a couple weeks ago now. Yeah I woulda paid just over $800AUD for both to be delivered out here, but no, I don't regret it one bit.
Best game ever, seriously.
Edit: As far as DLC goes, I don't know. I don't *think* I have a US account, and I know none of it's showing up when I check the store. I just figured DLC would be something I'll have to wait for a local release to be able to get my hands on.

To get to the US store u need to make an acount on ur ps3 and put in ur address as somewhere in the US. Then log into the PS3 as that user, click store and bam, US DLC.
Even if u cant access things like RB DLC and other things u have to pay for its still good for getting demos that are exclusive to the US store, or just get released on their b4 the aussie store.
And $400 for each RB bundle? thats insane, i paid $196 australian for 1 bundle. I got free delivery though, coz i complained i didnt get it sooner. :D

Yeah I kinda paid a premium to get them sooner; the prices have gone way, way down since I bought mine. Getting free delivery is a huge, huge bonus too. One of mine was sent via USPS Express, the other USPS Priority, and both costed at least $110US to be sent that way.
If you know what you like though, it's worth it. Other people probably think I'm mad for paying good money for getting a couple boxes full of plastic musical instruments shipped over from the US, but it's provided me with many, many hours of fun. And I'm only just getting started, too :)

Oh if you need a U.S. credit card just buy a simon gift card (simongiftcard.com) or something. dunno if they ship international. I'm not familiar with the PSN so I don't know how it works. I'm accustomed to the xbox forums so pardon me lol i forgot, both about the region coding and the multiplatform-ness of rock band. :P
