Hilarious running gag!

The running gag with the weird looking geeky guy with glasses in the crowd is hilarious. He looks different in every venue, and if I'm not mistaken, the music changes him chronologically i.e. his clothes get more liberal from year to year.

It cracks me up everytime I see that dumb looking face, it's awesome :D

I only saw him during the rooftop concert but come to think of it I do remember seeing him elsewhere.

Yeah, he's the same guy covering his ear next to the screaming girl in Shea Stadium.

I'll have to look more closely for him in the Cavern and Budokan.

I've seen him in the cavern and up on the rooftop, I can't find him at Ed Sullivan nor at the concert in 66, but I did notice the change in clothes when I saw him lol decaffeinatly looks like a nerd haha

It's Mal Evans. He was a friend, bodyguard, driver and clock holder during Day in the Life. He was with the boys since Liverpool at the Cavern Club as a bouncer.
