I got a very cool email this weekend saying that it's been 23 days (as of December 14) since I turned in my request for a new bass pedal. It also stated that after 28 days I'm going to get charged since I have not yet returned my broken product. Funny thing is, I'm still waiting for EA to ship me the replacement. So my 28 days has been passing by waiting for EA to catch up! Seems about right!
I love paying for others incompetence. Happy Holidays to ME!
And here is a copy of the email that was sent...
Dear XXXXX,
We trust you have received your new Xbox 360 Drum Pedal by now and are enjoying the Rock Band experience! However, it has been 23 days and we have not yet received the faulty Xbox 360 Drum Pedal you’re returning to us.
To avoid a charge to your debit or credit account, please return your faulty Xbox 360 Drum Pedal immediately upon receipt of your replacement. A charge will be posted 28 days after your request for a replacement if we do not receive your faulty Xbox 360 Drum Pedal.

Well a little follow up...
I called customer service when I couldn't reply to the original email. After speaking to them they mentioned a few issues with some of the returns. They processed a new RGA and tracking number and made sure that I wouldn't be charged for the 28 day issue.
Good work to the customer service team in working fast to fix a problem. This should be a reminder to those that have yet to receive their replacement instruments. Follow up is key if you think things are taking too long. Make sure if you get that email that you contact EA about the problem.
As always, be kind to the Customer Service Rep you speak to as a cool head makes sure they take ownership of your problems and work hard to help you out as much as they can.
PS...I know that I mention a cool head when I used a harsh word like incompetence in my first post. Incompetence is a correct way of explaining the issue. Profanity would not have been. That is what I mean about a cool head.

I got this email and need to call them too. I can't seem to locate where I put the number to call directly, though. If you would be so kind as to give me the number you used to sort out this issue, I'd be very happy. :) If not, well, I could hunt for it some more...
