While I truly hope you enjoy Xbox Live, which is probably the best self-contained online experience there is (better than Yahoo, PS3 Online, Wii Shop, MSN, etc. IMHO) and I'm sure you'll enjoy many of the 360 only titles (Mass Effect, Halo 3)... and you'll definitely love having two guitars for Rock Band...


You just opened yourself up to get flamed pretty hard by PS3 owners.


Personally... I like the PS3's potential.. but potential and Blu-Ray just can't compete with Xbox Live and the 360's catalog. I'll be buying a PS3 when it gets some killer aps.

Till then... I quote myself: In a console war the only winners are the people who like good video games more than name brands. Personally, I hope 360 and Wii make Sony step thier game up the same way that PS2 made Xbox get it's crap together for the 360.

Thats fine Ps3 owners can bring it , i was sick of nothing working together, and i didnt wast to buy 6 guitars just to play All the Guitar Heros and rock band, and it is to cool that you can play with other people, i played rock band with some guys on SAT for 3 1/2 hours

no halo3 sucks in comparison to halo and halo 2......this is coming from someone who was a MAJOR halo fanboy. Read all the books, made theories of storyline, done the ARG for the game, ect.

It's not really a console war issue -- it's just a matter of allocating your money towards what you want. If the PS3 offers no exclusives you want and you don't want bluray then hopping over makes sense. (The converse does too; if you hate halo, don't care that much about online, and really wanna play Drake's Fortune, by all means get a PS3.)

"Wars" are just people trying to defend the massive cash drop they put on their own console. It evolves out of insecurity. Which one you pick is entirely a personal decision based on your needs.
