woah!! Spiderman 3??!! sure not the best out there, but definetly does not deserve to be among the top worst list.....

I played it, and had fun swinging around the city fighting badies, I say it's an ok game.

oh, and Pirates of the caribean 3, uggh!! I only got the game because my son loves the movies, but even he thought the game sucked, and he's only 4.

This year was a very good year for gaming overall, probably one of the best in a long, long time.

Transformers for PSP was the worst game Ive ever played, and the only disc I ever destroyed.

Lair got a bad rap. It wasn't a bad game. It just didn't live up to the hype.

When will people stop making games for movies?

Gamepro did theirs too. Half of them are Wii games. It's in video form so I'll just type it out:

10. Legend of the Dragon (Wii)
9. Two Worlds (360)
8. Lair (PS3)
7. Soul Caliber Legends (Wii)
6. Vampire Rain/Bullet Witch (360)
5. Jenga (Wii)
4. Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-am (PS2)
3. Godzilla Unleashed (Wii)
2. Jackass (PS2)
1. Donkey Kong Barrel Blast (Wii)

Part 1: http://www.gamepro.com/video/player.cfm?vid=120840
Part 2: http://www.gamepro.com/video/player.cfm?vid=120920

They also destroy most of the discs.

i really wouldn't know the worst games of 2007. i usually wait until i hear input from a game magazine/friends before i go out and buy something. but of course there's the obvious exceptions due to big names(halo 3, gh3, etc) i wont question too much before i get it.

6. Vampire Rain/Bullet Witch (360)

I am so flippin' tired of Bullet Witch getting bashed. I acknowledge it had its issues and crap but I personally loved it. The whole premise behind had alot of potential and laid the groundwork for something really awesome if the damn slackers would get a decent team together. I mean you can tell they tried but the teams focus seem dispersed and a good bit of the attractiveness got lost in bringing it stateside.

That said this year was decent. I noticed alot of people were straying away from reviews and big websites like GameSpot or IGN and moving towards a more opinion formed (not borrowed) way of buying games and site like Destructoid got alot of love. The games themselves ran from all hype (Halo 3), to surprising no one (Bioshock), to heart breaking (Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock) to suprising everyone (Stuntman Ignition), to downright awful (Pirates of the Carribean sucked a good one).

I would most certainly not shoot you down for the statement. It's up there.

Rehashes suck. Rehashes tied into every damned commercial product on the planets suck even more.

It's like "Hey want some Mountain Dew with your Halo 3 ad?"

Like someone said, Lair wasn't that bad a game, just didn't live up the hype.

It wasn't that much. I mean it was only on Mountain Dew...and Burger King...and the CBS football pregame show...and Entertainment Tonight...and previews/trailers for it when I went to go see movies.

I barely noticed it.

I liked Bulletwitch too from what I played (I can't get motivated to finish it) but I knew Gamepro really hated it,I'm suprised it wasn't higher on the list. Then again on their best games list they left off 3 games that got a 5/5 and I don't think there was 10 games that got that score.

Lair was a good concept with very poor execution, very poor controls, and many performance issues.

If that's not a 'bad' game, you've got lower standards than I.

I think Lair was the biggest disappointment, but I bet if you dropped me off at a GameStop, I could find 10 games that were worse. All I have to do is look for games that have any of the following on the cover: a TV character, a movie character, a horse/pony, Barbie, a photo of a little kid, the name of a board game.

I at least had some fun out of Lair, before the controls started to annoy me (particularly on the level with the spotlights), which is still more than I can say about other games.

Probably the same time EA starts doing good PS3 ports. If they can throw crap together, and sell it off its name, it will continue to happen.

The LotR: The Two Towers game was kind of fun. Or at least I thought. But I can't think of any other movie-based game that I liked.

with all the hardware problems with this game its terrible!!!! 4 out of 5 guitars are bad out the box, and 3 of five drums are bad, pedals, pads, and sticks. mics seem to be solid and no problems other han initial loading to system. i think it should be at least #2 in top ten worst games of 2k7!!!

I didn't say it was the 'worst' game, but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind (having actually had a chance to play it recently at a friend's) that it's a bad game.

you obviously haven't played many games on this list. and hardware has nothing to do with the game. i understand there's some hardware issues, but the game is great. dont judge it on whether your guitar works or not. dip****.

and battle axe, i'm tired of people ripping on halo 3. i fully understand that it is overrated and overhyped but it is still a great game. i NEVER judge anything based on popularity, but i got hooked on it for a bit. not #1, but not nearly one of the worst games. in terms of gameplay and online content, it's obvious your post is out of conformitist hate rather than on actual gameplay.

I don't know, the controls were fine for me.

Guess I'm in a minority there.

I thought Jackass for PS2 was fun. I got it for free though. It was really stupid but it was entertaining at the same time.

Yea Jackass was fun while it lasted.
I'm suprised Kengo isn't on either of those lists.

Where do these people get these statistics? Nobody I know IRL who has RB has any problems. I guess that means 4 out of 5 states got all bad RB bundles right? I mean, since no one in IN had a problem, that means it's clearly regulated by the state, and we can make up any damned statistic we want!

And Tenchu Z is great if you love Tenchu games... and I do!

Eh, they were unresponsive.

People tried to go "WELL DUH LOL YOU'RE RIDING A DRAGON IT'S SUPPOSED TO TURN SLOW" or "WELL YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY TRYING TO TILT THE SIXAXIS TOO FAST" completely missing the point that the problem was not the slow turning but rather what was a delay between tilting the controller and seeing a response.

Not to mention the first excuse is incredibly silly when the dragon turns incredibly slowly but does a 180 faster than a most video game starfighters.
