Can't get it to work!~ help!

I can't be THIS stupid. Not only is my wireless not working with my wii, but I bought a new guitar for the beatles rockband. When i try to get everything started, it's continues to tell me I don't have the microphone plugged in. ALL I want to do at this point is use the 2 guitars. Do I ned to "sync" the new guitar? It won't even give me the option to only use the 2 guitars.
ANy tips on getting my wireless to work again with the wii would be great. It works with my laptop, so my router is fine.

Are you using a Wiimote to navigate the menus? If so, that's the problem. Using a Wiimote tells the game you are going to be singing. You have to navigate the menus with a guitar.

And by wireless - are you talking about your instrument, or using Wi-Fi Connection? A little more information about what is going on, what your set-up is, etc... would go a long way towards troubleshooting the problem. You don't just call the cable company and say that your TV is "blank".

How do I navigate the menus with the guitar? Because I can't even sync it! It's driving me crazy I just bought it and I can't use it :/ is the Beattles Rock Band for Wii. The guitar is wireless :S....please help!
