So... it's been about 8-9 months since my poor PS3 conked out on me. Given my addiction level to Rock Band, I could liken it to quitting smoking cold-turkey.
And, given that my favorite instrument is Vox, I was at least able to take comfort in the knowledge that I didn't NEED the PS3 to sing... it was just nice to play a game that combined so many things I love. Video games, singing, customization, meeting new people and calling them douchers because i think their music is overplayed....
I've been content just visiting the site and hanging out with other RBers while i try to work out some sort of solution to the lack of funds necessary to get a new PS3 since I got ripped off by a web repair site. A warning to all, NEVER use videogames911. They'll change the website on you and then say it's your fault that you weren't able to log in and tell them that you wanted the check for parts because there was no way you were going to pay their trumped-up repair bill that somehow ended up costing MORE than what it would have to just send it to Sony.

So yeah... I KNOW after what i ended up doing today, that it is TIME to get a new PS3 and SOON, because i miss playing my favorite game so much...
Most of the day today i spent singing Rock band songs into a handful of bamboo stalks.
This is where i need my "special jacket"....
