Okay guys, name three singles from 2007 that would make for a great "Best of 2007" Downloadable Content pack. I really want to know what current rock music you guys are listening to.
Here are mine, from least to greatest;

The Only Children - Amen Amen (May 2007)
Southern infused indie rock. Very Creedence. When I think rock music is dead, I listen to this song/band.

Battles - Atlas (May 2007)
Crazy vocals, crazy drumming, this song (the whole album really) is nuts. Great solos. Intense.

The National - Mistaken For Strangers (May 2007)
Intricate drums, great vocals. Best song of the year for me.

I haven't heard any of these, but I'll look them up now. I was about to say nothing of consequence has come out in 2007 (altho what I've heard of the latest Foo Fighters album I've enjoyed. I have a soft spot for them)

Oh man, Battles would rock so hard.

I don't think the vocalist would have too much fun though.

HAHA, I was thinking the exact opposite. I would have a BLAST.

If you're going to check any of those songs out, check youtube for "The National" and "Battles." I don't know if there's a good "The Only Children" video.
