Harmony Based Achievements

For the two harmony achievements where you have to get all double and triple fab ratings, can you have more than one person signed in in order to obtain the achievment? Do all microphones have to go to one controller or can they be spread out?

My brother asked me this yesterday and I wasn't really sure what to tell him. That would suck otherwise for the other people also singing and not being able to get the achievement unless you go through each song again with perfect fab ratings.

I tried doing this with my wife this past weekend and I was VERY disappointed to find out that completing songs with two part harmonies only counted towards the achievement for one gamertag at a time.

We were both signed in to our gamertags (with two seperate controllers) and after completing a few songs, we looked at our achievement progress and they only counted towards one. So, it looks like you will have to do every song twice to get an achievement on two gamertags.

There is absolutely no way I will be able to get the three-part achievement...

All microphones have to go to one controller, and it is only the person signed into that controller that gets credit for the achievement. Just like if you're playing guitar and your drummer happens to get 100% on Helter Skelter, he's the only one who will get that achievement, not you.

But it's not that difficult to get the Double and Triple Fabs if you play on Easy. The achievement has no specified difficulty, so you can do them all on Easy to make it, well, easier. :)

True they are somewhat easy to do, its just time issues I'm concerned with because the only ones who can play and sing harmony with me are my brothers who live far away and only visit occasionally. Everyone else won't sing even if I pay them haha. (Not that I've actually tried or suggested that)
