You cannot. The Rock Band 1 drum kit does not have ports into which you would plug the cymbals. You need a Rock Band 2 drum kit for that.

i'd really like to have comments on the cymbals expansion, i have RB 2 Wii and i wonder if the cymbals package is worth it...Anybody had good or bad experience with it ? I saw an Intec 3 cymbals kit for 40 $. Are there any other options ?
Also i would like to know the options for a Bass controller for Wii, please share your experiences so i can choose wisely ! ;)

There is only one option for cymbals for the RB2 drum kits. Intec, Icon, MadCatz, they are all exactly the same cymbals. They are originally made by MadCatz, but other companies (like Icon and Intec) are rebranding them and selling them in other distribution areas.
