Problems with bass pedal?

I don't know if the bass is supposed to be like this or if something is wrong with it. Well my bass works most of the time but in order for it to register it has to be lifted all the way up and then pushed down. Its makes impossible to do triple bass(like in painkiller) because it becomes so uncomortable. On my RB 1 drums and GHWT drums you can just lift it half way and then press it. Is there something wrong with my bass?

I think there is. Mine is fine, i can do all those triples and stuff while only puching back halfway, so, i think ur pedal broke, or half broken. No i dea how to fix it though, so sorry :(

Oh yeah it was like that out of the box and the green over coat was peeled off a little too right out of the box.

I'm having the same trouble as well. My plastic was partially pealled off of my pedal too.
