R U getting what you want for Xmas??

Not me, I'm 33 yrs. old so it's not like I can write a letter to santa and hope for the best. This time around I'm the one buying the presents. But there is one thing I would love to get for Christmas, I have hinted my wife on serveral ocations that it would look great mounted on the wall of my TV room, but either she doesn't catch my drifft or she thinks I'm crazy for wanting it.

I've had a PS3 for a while now. And I can honestly say there are no games that excite me on it that I can't get on my X360.

I like a little of everything, but.. I may also be getting Orange Box for...360 Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008 for 360, cause it has custom soundtracks and the PS3 one doesn't (wtf), I might pick up MLB 07 The Show cause I love baseball, anyone got an opinion on that?

Yeah. I'd wait until MLB The Show 08. It is going to be the best baseball game ever made. And it will have custom soundtracks. Gasp!! On a PS3 game?!?!? Yes.

The Show 07 is Ok, but they just sent out a press release of the details on 08 and it absolutely blows 07 out of the water. If you can pick up 07 cheap, go for it, but if you can only find it for around 40 dollars, I'd just wait till 08.

I also recommend Uncharted. And give a rent to Heavenly Sword. It is on the shorter side, but it's a great game.


Also, I'm 21 so I don't get much for Xmas. I got a few blu-ray movies to start building up the library. Some money, the clothes. The usual.

I got my Christmas present early. A red Fender Jazz bass. It amazing compared to what I was playing before (a borrowed, broken, duct-taped Squire P-bass with a broken pick guard and well beyond two year old strings).

I played a peavy like that for a while, except I think I got a new set of strings. So I had 2 sets of year old strings.

As far as presents, I already got mine. My parents got me a season pass to the mountain, and I got it early becuase i have already gone up, and im going like 5 more times before xmas.
The real present I bought formyself though. All new snowboarding gear.
And my brother is giving me cod4, and im getting him cod4. So that is all I really need.

i jotted down a few 360 games i wouldn't mind owning and passed the list around to family members so heres to hoping i get a few games i want ;)

mostly i just get cash or pre-paid visa cards or best buy gift cards :cool:
