Avatar Shirts for Sale on Ebay - wft!

Really quite disgusted to see folk are selling avatar codes on ebay. Why not just hop on the forum and hold a quiz or whatever? It's currently at £3.20.

Yeah, I have seen that myself. Seems they are asking $5 US for the t-shirt code.

Unless people have money to burn, they should be ashamed of themselves, especially if it's a girls avatar shirt - I saw one of my female friends wearing the shirt on the dashboard "friends" blade and you can't even see that it says "The Beatles Rock Band", let alone the large "Beatles" font.

I was quite shocked to see that us British people didn't get a shirt code with the game (with The Beatles being a British band and all that, buy hey, we should all know by now that American's get 90% of the good / exclusive stuff when it comes to video games), though I think that Harmonix should just put the shirt on the avatar marketplace for 80 / 160 MSpts, so that no one's left out or paying silly prices on eBay and such places for virtual clothing. It would be like saying people who got the code just got the shirt for free, whereas those who didn't can still get the shirt, they just have to pay. Everyone's a winner then! =)

Even some folks in the USA didn't get the tshirt code. Y'know what folk are like, if they think they can sell something they will. I was just lucky to be in a position where someone sent me one. You're totally right, the female one is harder to read. I was a little disappointed by that. End of the day though, it's a tshirt for a graphic rendering of yourself. Folk need to get a lil perspective and a lil less crazy!

Well, there's already an avatar store, so people are used to the idea of buying their fake clothes.

I think its a total scam paying for that stuff, but people can do what they want with their money.

that's not a bad idea especially since i was giving my female shirt code away on a different thread that got buried (forgot about it until this thread). No one expressed a want for it, so i might actually do the ebay thing...(the male shirt, on the other hand, was gone in about 3 minutes)
