USB Microphone Samson Q1U Doesn't Work!

I bought a USB Hand Held microphone made by samson model q1u. It is a professional usb mic and i was hoping that it would work with RB. It doesn't work. Any idea why not? Any other professional USB mic's work with RB?

Apparantley by "Most USB" mics will work, you meant MOST of the ones that came with Rockband ACTUALLY work.

This is getting to be more of a joke every day. Great game, but the product testing sucks

Seriously, what is the point of this forum?

I see a lot of "Tech Problems" but very little "Tech Support" and I am not talking about this particular thread.

The only help you can get is from other users on how to fix it yourslef and "void the warranty." If you dont want people messing with stuff themselves, it might help if something was actually said or done in here in the way of "Support"

I actually have a Samson C01U USB mic and it works with Rock Band (on PS3, don't have a 360 to try it on). You just have to turn the mic sensitivity almost all the way up in the Rock Band options for it to actually register your singing though.

any difference in SQ or is it too quiet to even hear a difference.

Let me know if you find out anything about what works or doesn't; I'm checking here to see if we have a list of USB microphones known to work with the game (or known not to work so you can avoid them).
