The Beatles Rockband: Ten for Five Deal

Alot of people have been talking about how their favorite songs are missing from the game, and how some songs they dont even truly like that much are actually on the disc. So I thought of this thread idea as a little game for us.

**This is a forum game, you ARE NOT going to get your song choices just because you posted them, and harmonix WOULD NEVER DELETE SONGS from the game. This is hypothetical!!!!**

Rules

1) You must pickTEN (10) songs from the game to be permanently deleted from the game. They will never come back. Of course you could listen to them on cd or vinyl or wtv, but they will never be back on TB:RB.

----a) Your deleted songs must already BE on the game. This means that DLC DOES NOT COUNT!

----b) You can not pick less/more than ten.

----c) If you remove a song such as "Sgt. Pepper..." which is always connected to "A little help from..." than BOTH songs are removed as it is counted as a single song by the game.

2) In return for removing 10 songs you are instantly rewarded with up to FIVE (5) new songs for TB:RB for free - dreamscapes/venues and all.

++++a)Your song choices must be limited to songs featuring Ringo, John, George, and Paul at a minimum.Yesterday, Quarrymen songs, Silverbeatles, Threatles, and solo career songs DO NOT COUNT!!!

++++b) Your songs must feature a guitar, a rhythm or bass guitar, at least one vocalist, and drums. Other effects are permitted so long as they can "appear" as the notes for guitar or bass (ala i am the walrus)

++++c) Vocals must be playable. "Number 9, Number 9...wahhhhhhh ndunsoneadf" nonsense and backtracking in rain is not okay!

++++d) Your songs can NOT COME FROM DLC ! Those songs are coming already, this is to find out what songs YOU REALLY LOVE!

BANNED SONGS

The following songs have been deemed unlikely to EVER be included in the beatles rock band. This list excludes DLC which can be found in the PREVIOUS POST. Reasons that these songs might not be included:

To make it on this list the community must decide in this thread that a certain song does not meet the developers requirements for TB:RB.

1) Harmonix has stated they want this game to focus on the beatles 1963-1970 so if the song is a song from a very early version of the Beatles (quarrymen, silverbeetles, etc.) or a solo song from after the breakup its unlikely that Harmonix would add it.

2) Certain songs aren’t playable. Revolution 9 really wouldn’t be an ideal song choice

3) The song is missing instruments OR doesn’t have an instrument to make up for the lack of it. For example, in “I am the walrus” guitar players really play synth. If your song is totally missing a substitute instrument it won’t support all 4 players. We don’t need another “YYZ” like RB2.

Man... it's hard to choose ten songs to get rid of, but here goes...

REMOVE:

1 - A Hard Day's Night (it's fun, but gets repetitive)
2 - I Wanna Be Your Man (also repetitive... and a pain in the cymbal hand!)
3 - Twist and Shout (another simple and repetitive one)
4 - Revolution (I love this track, but it's not as interesting to play as some others)
5 - Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (also not that exciting to play)
6 - I've Got A Feeling (has some good parts, but mostly sort of plain)
7 - Getting Better (great song in general, but simple)
8 - Birthday (I've never been a big fan of this song in general... the lyrics bug me)
9 - Boys (another one I've just never loved much)
10 - Don't Let Me Down (great song, but also sort of boring after a while to play)

ADD:

1 - Magical Mystery Tour (not much guitar, but the drums, bass and vox would be challenging)
2 - She Said, She Said (Ringo's fills on this ought to really screw with some folks)
3 - Savoy Truffle (challenging rhythms, guitar licks, good harmony vox)
4 - Old Brown Shoe (lots of good ho/po for the guitar, complex bassline, harmony)
5 - Please Please Me (fun for the drums and vocals, decent guitar)

There are still others I'd love... lots of songs by the Beatles that are favorites which didn't get on the disc, but a lot of them wouldn't be as well suited to the RB gameplay... stuff like "Hey Jude", "Let It Be" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" that just don't have much guitar in them. Still, so much good music to choose from!

You just selected at least 5 of my favorite songs in the game. The only one on your list I would axe is "Boys", to be replaced with "She Loves You." "Obla-di Obla-da" and "Fool on the Hill" wouldn't come anywhere near my version of the game.

I don't know how some people would like to drop some iconic most loved songs such as Here Comes The Sun and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
