How do you play TB:RB when you are alone?

If you play alone with a microphone but also play an instrument simultaneously, then the last four options (excluding the final option) are for you.

I picked drums, but if I start playing after 9-10 PM on a weeknight, I'll play guitar just because I don't want to set up the ions, make a ton of noise, and end up all sweaty just before bed.

I just finished playing the game and I played almost every option on your poll. The only ones I didn't do were Bass/Vox and Drums/Vox.

If I had to choose just one though it would be a tough call between guitar and voxtar, probably solo guitar still gets the most play.

I'll usually just drum and sing. I could probably stand to practice a couple of the harder songs on Expert, but I can't really do that when I'm singing, too. It is very hard to resist singing the songs while playing drums or guitar!

If I'm alone it means one of two things - either my wife has already gone to bed, which means I have to keep it quiet, so that's just guitar or bass... or my wife is not home, in which case it's either guitar/bass and vocal, or drums, or drums and vocal.
