Defunct bands on the leaderboard

Is there anyway to get a band that you started taken out of the system, that you deleted before properly disbanding it? I wanted to use a name again that we had on the first time go, but don't see anyway of getting this cleared without some help from a Rock Band admin.

I have the same problem. I started a band with a certain name, deleted it because of a mistake, then tried to start another with the same name. When I did, it told me that the name was already taken! There MUST be a way to delete your old bands from the server! I thought that with this new website, I could do that, but I can only 'edit' the band, not delete it altogether. Frustrating!
