As a beatlemaniac, I can tell you that this game is a dream come true. I have not played a video game since 1985, but I got every Beatles plugin and extra available. Now on to my question...
There seems to be some glaring ommisions on the song list- My favs lean to the Beatlemania years when they had fun playing together:
First run Must haves:
1) Please Please Me (great guitar runs and harmonies)
2) She Loves You
3) From Me To You
4) All My Loving (great Bass runs and John's triples)
5) If I Fell (harmony heaven)
6) Help (how did this get left off this first run?)
[U]Second tier hits:
1) You Can't Do That (one of Johns Favs and first lead)
2) I'm Down- Great rocker
3) Hard Days Night or Help movie soundtracks
4) Revolver LP
I could go on, but these are major Beatlemania hits. Even if the early LP's are never released, there should be cherry picked songs available for download. The background elements are done (unlike the later era which has to have custom dreamscapes created.) Plug them into the Cavern or Sullivan and off you go.
I hope they read these posts 'cause this game is the ultimate for me.

Just a quick note to explain something. If it seems like they left out a lot of early stuff, part of the reason is that they have to isolate the guitar, bass and drums for any track they put together. This is necessary not only for determining what the parts sound like, but also to make it possible for the instruments to drop sound when you miss a note.
On the later tracks, they have quite a few master tapes stored that they can pull from to make this task easier. For the early tracks, they have to work much harder, often even using Giles Martin's audio forensic techniques. So if you want to know why we don't have seemingly no-brainer tracks like She Loves You, Please Please Me or Help!, that's the most likely explanation.

It is true that the earliest LP and 3/4 of With the beatles was 2 track. But from the last 1/4 on (including "Hard Day's Night" and "Beatles For Sale") are recorded exactlly the same as Rubber Soul; and that is being released as a full LP download.
Also, as a an animation artist I can tell you that isolating bass frequecies with Cedar Systems hardware is much easier than hand designing the wild Dreamscapes for each later, in-studio song.
In any case just a few of these milestone hits would be nice (you can still hear the balls in my head rattling trying to understand how "Help" got omitted.
It's crazy, man

Except those who were remastering all the songs for the new stereo release already seperated the instrument tracks out. If HMX has access to the songs, they'll have access to those new master tracks. The master tracks should not be an issue here.
