No luck. The Wal-Mart electronics supervisor, or whatever, claims it's been pushed back and they have no idea when they're getting them. I told them that the developer said it gets released today and asked them to check in the back, but I could see I wasn't getting anywhere. I almost bought the PS3 bundle and the stand-alone PS2 game, but I was worried it might be an early PS3 bundle with the very first batch of crappy controllers. I'm hoping the PS2 bundles come with the slightly better equipment (though I'm sure it will still break). I'll try again, in the morning, at electronics and video game retailers.

No luck in erie,pa All walmarts confirmed mid Jan although they had it advertised in their ad. I called bestbuy and they said its been pushed back till after xmas around 28th.

Granted, this was on Saturday, but I was promised by GameStop (bunch of dicks they are) that it was coming late this week.

To me this means thurs or fri, but I'll check again later. It seems retailers have no clue what's going on with this bundle, just like us and the whole "what's the PS2 version all about" debacle.

I would be VERY careful at Walmart. I had a toy for my daughter, all I wanted to do is exchange it for a different model, same price. Walmart told me the only thing they could do is return the product for $3 (regular price $9.99) and then I could re-purchase the other version. All this because I had no receipt.

I am thinking about doing this myself and just putting the game on eBay for $30 or something to get some of the money back. But I don't think I am that desperate. It's for my girls for Christmas, and I might just give them an IOU.

I tried Best Buy, Target, ToysRus and WalMart and none of them had it in yet. Target told me they aren't getting it in at all.

My GF is absolutely dying to get ahold of this game, was even considering buying a PS3 before she found out it would be on PS2!!! When we pre-ordered this game from Gamestop it was supposed to be out last week, gets pushed back to the 18th (today) I get up early (I work nights) so I can go get it and have it here for her when she gets off work and GS tells me it is not comming out until the 20th now. I saw a bunch of Wal-Marts in the area had it listed as in stock, but when I called them they said it sony has put a "hold" on it till the 21st but of course do not know why. I understand that things come up and sometimes stuff gets delayed but why can't I find anything about this online. Even this website says it is available today. I actually found a link to an announcement by Harmonix released YESTERDAY saying the game would be available TODAY. Anybody got any idea when this game will be out and what is up with the delays and bad information from Harmonix. I just picked up the PS2 bundle at Gamestop. PS2 bundles are in stock for those who pre-ordered. I guess the official date is 12/21/07.
